The "Of Beards and Men" book includes 150 portraits along with a brief "bio" of each bearded gent. The book includes three essays written by Douglas Beasley (photographer and educator), George Slade (photography historian, writer, consultant, and curator / re:photographica), and Andy Sturdevant (arts writer). In addition the book includes an interview by Beardreverd and brief statement by New York Times photography critic Vicki Goldberg. The book is a handsomely designed and exquisitely printed coffee table/art book. It was printed with traditional/UV offset printing on heavy premium grade paper. There are three editions to choose from: a slipcase edition, a hardcover edition, and a softcover edition. The slipcase and hardcover editions incorporate foil stamping and a tip-in photo. The softcover edition was produced with a soft-touch laminate and foil-stamping and includes a special foil-stamped, french fold dust jacket.
